Hello! I am Tyson.

I created this blog as an outlet for myself to further explore the concepts of continuous improvement, learning, problem solving, positivity, and creativity. Kaizen is a Japanese word; kai = change and zen = good. It translates to good change or continuous improvement. My content is focused around one thing: good change. Anything that helps us get smarter, faster, nicer, or happier.

As the Director of Operations of an online retail sales company, I have been a part of transitioning our company into one that puts continuous improvement first. We have built a strong culture of positive collaboration and effective communication. People are the most important resource. Employee genius drives change. Creativity is the most important attribute each employee can possess. You spend 40+ hours every week at work, you might as well make it fun!
